Rye House

Pella® Fiberglass Full Light Entry Door

Located in the emerging Port Covington neighborhood of Baltimore, The Rye House stands as a key reflection of modern urban living. Handled in partnership with Bozzuto Development, this project called for strong yet elegant materials capable of withstanding the demands of a busy residential community.

Project Overview

Situated on East Cromwell Street, The Rye House anchors a growing district known for its blend of waterfront access, retail energy, and contemporary architecture. As part of Bozzuto’s commitment to quality construction and thoughtful design, Pella Mid-Atlantic was brought on to supply commercial-grade windows and entry systems that promised durability, ease of use, and visual sophistication.

Product Integration

For the main entryways, Pella Mid-Atlantic selected Pella® Fiberglass Full Light Front Doors, a design defined by expansive glazing, crisp lines, and reliable performance.

Crafted from energy-efficient fiberglass, our doors combine the warmth of authentic woodgrain texture with efficient weather resistance and minimal upkeep. Its full light design floods interiors with natural daylight, forging a seamless connection between indoor spaces and the surrounding streetscape. Built for durability and effortless operation, it’s engineered to perform beautifully in high-traffic mixed-use and multi-family environments.

Design Intent

The use of Pella’s fiberglass door system supports Bozzuto’s pursuit of quality, comfort, and community integration. Each entryway not only enhances the Rye House’s architectural rhythm but also contributes to a cohesive visual identity throughout the building. With oversized glass elements and sleek framing, the doors invite both light and life into the interiors that mirror the open, connected spirit of the Port Covington neighborhood.
